Sarah Parker, MDiv, MA, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Sarah specializes in treating individuals, couples, and families. Her clinical interests lie in treating couples’ issues, family of origin issues, parenting challenges, life transitions, sexual concerns, and grief and loss. In addition, Sarah has experience working with individuals and families living with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities.

Sarah understands and appreciates the unique story of each person and family and tailors her therapeutic approach to fit each client's unique strengths and challenges. Sarah provides a warm, safe space where clients can feel supported and accepted throughout the process of growth and change. Sarah also brings to LeaderWise her experience as a pastor, a pastor’s spouse, and parent of three PKs (Pastor’s Kids) and a desire to support and encourage clergy and their families.

Sarah is a certified PREPARE/ENRICH premarital counseling facilitator. Sarah is also trained as a human sexuality facilitator and has utilized her training in workshops designed for children through adults.

Sarah earned her Master’s of Divinity (MDiv) from Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia, and her Master's Degree (MA) in Marriage and Family Therapy from Bethel Seminary in Arden Hills, MN. She was ordained as a Minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA) in 2000 and has provided care to individuals and families across the lifespan in the congregations that she has served as a pastor and children and family ministry’s director.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids and supporting her kids as they perform in music, theater, and sporting events.
