Celebrating 50 years (1969-2019)
Gary is a theological educator in both seminary and university settings. For the past eleven years, he has been president of the Omaha Presbyterian Seminary Foundation in Nebraska. He is an ordained Presbyterian Church (USA) minister with decades of experience in congregations along with governing body responsibility at the local, regional, and national level.
He serves on the boards of civic and professional organizations In Omaha and denominationally. His interests include coaching pastors and non-profit executives, consulting with congregations and judicatories, and psychoanalysis.
His background includes training and experience in non-profit fundraising for religious organizations, interim ministry, strategic planning, and conflict management.
Gary and his wife are the parents of adult children and a grandson. For relaxation, he enjoys time with his family and friends, college and professional sports, film, reading, travel, music, and writing.
He is an Ordained Minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA); the President of the Omaha Presbyterian Seminary Foundation (since 2007); and since 2005 has been a lecturer with Creighton University's Department of Theology.
